Rooted in Tradition, Made with Pride -

At Suswaad, we take immense pride in our Thirunelveli roots, a land known not just for its rich culture but also for its unmatched culinary heritage. Our sweets and savouries are a reflection of this legacy – authentic, flavorful, and made with love, just like our grandmothers and mothers used to make.
Unlike many others in the market, our savouries are made using Puzhungal Arisi (boiled rice), staying true to traditional methods. Our best-selling savouries include Kai Murukku, Thirunelveli Arisi Murukku, Seedai, Thenzhukal, Mullu Thenkuzhal, Mixture, and Ribbon Pakoda – each one delivering that irreplaceable homemade taste.

Our sweets are equally beloved – especially our signature Maa Laddu and Badusha, cherished by customers of all ages. Other favourites include Vella Seedai, Athirasam, Rava Laddu, and Mysore Pak. We also proudly prepare two types of traditional Manoharam – the Thirunelveli style (made with Kadalai Maavu) and the Tanjore style (made with Arisi Maavu), so that every customer from the South can reconnect with the flavours of their childhood.

What sets us apart is our dedication to rare and authentic South Indian delicacies like Puttu, Okkarai, Nukkal, Kaapu Arisi, Virathappam, and Nei appam – items that are hard to find elsewhere.

At Suswaad, Diwali Marundhu is available 365 days a year, not just during festive times, because we believe tradition should be accessible always.

At Suswaad, we never use Dalda or Palm Oil – not even a single packet has entered our premises and never will.
We always remove excess oil from our savouries, ensuring they’re light and healthy.
